Can anyone tell me exactly how much QPR and Norwich will be getting for their promotion to the Premier League.
I'm working with a guy out here in Australia who reckons its in the region of 56 million ( ? ) , and about 10 million if they go back down again .
It would help solve the argument if you knew where the money comes from as well i.e. Sky or the P.L.

£56 million is an utter load of bollocks. I'm sure you get less than that for actually winning the Premier League itself.

With £56 million, all the promoted teams could have some of the largest transfer funds in the entire league.

I agree but I want some sort of figure to come back at him with, I thought it was something like 10 million but I think it was increased last year.
I'm sure fat Mike Ashley would know the exact amount but I don't know how to contact him.

I think that with TV payments it is somewhere in the region of £15,000,000 but I stand to be corrected.

Only thing i can find is £10million for the winners, but the TV revenue is probably £30 million +, they say the play off final is the richest game in the world for the winners, prize money is probably crap, but its the TV revenue once you win it.

pretty sure the parachute payments are 20 million a year for 3 years. actually if you believe the Gaurdian its Relegated top-flight clubs to receive £48m over four years from http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/may/10/football-league-agree-parachute-payments
