Norwich City Women held their nerve yesterday, winning promotion to the third tier of English women's football for the very first time by beating opponents Moneyfields in the play-off showdown at Burton. Having taken a 2:0 lead early in the game, they were pegged back to 2:2 by half-time. There were no further goals, taking the match to penalties. The decisive moment came when, the shoot-out having reached sudden death, Norwich keeper Sarah Quantrill saved Lucy Chads's spot kick. Congratulations to the City girls!
