Guess i'd be the first twat to do the latest of these articles, so i'll chuck mine in, and we can edit debate as we discuss it.

    .................................Westwood...............................

    Bardo...................Turner..............Bramble............Ricco

    Larsson..............Colback..............Gardner.............Sess

    ..............................Gyan......Whickham......................

I've based this on what we have now, i now Gardner ain't 100% done, but near enough for me to call him ours.

Looks like a pretty ****ing decent reference point with 2 months of the window still to go.

Unless he has a blistering pre-season, I think Wickham will only be used as a sub for the first few games, so it will probably be Gyan as the lone striker, Sess behind, Ricco at LM, Bardo LB and Anton RB (unless we sign Nedum, which I really hope we do!)

Sorry BB mate Ricco shouldn't be near the first team, unless we're desperate.

Sorry BB mate Ricco shouldn't be near the first team, unless we're really ****ing desperate.

Corrected it for you, you missed a couple of key words.

Sorry but I dont agree and by the way Gordon will be injured. Richardson at LB is fine with me.

I know he will be injured for the start of the season but he's in my 11 because he's the best keeper at the club. I'm a 4-4-2 man but sessegnon needs to be accomodated for and I dont think we'd get the best out of him on the left and playing him in the centre would be asking an awfull lot of his cm partner and I think we'd get over ran in the middle. I think with two holding midfielders it gives see licence to roam forward almost free role which makes him a nightmare for the opposition to mark.

I may burst a blood vessel but BARDO IS NOT A LEFT BACK!!!!!!!

thanks I feel a lot better now.

    .................Migg....................
    Bardo....Bramble..Turner....Ricco
    .....Larson...Catts...Gardener.....
    ......Sess...Gyan...Wickham......

I fully expect to have another couple in by the start of the season, but the side above plays everyone in their natural position on their natural foot. No square pegs in round holes.

We know we need a LB and we know we need a left winger and another forward and a centre half. Were 4 signings off having a really really decent squad.

Although i'm a bit of a 4-4-2 man, i really like that team. We must have a left footer on the left, so agree with your choice of putting Richo there. i think we may find Dong-won deployed on the left wing!

    Westwood

    Bardsley Bramble Samba O'Shea

    Larsson Catts Gardener N'Zogbia

    Sess

    Gyan

Not too unrealistic, I still think Samba would be off to Arsenal if anywhere and N'Zogbia could end up anywhere though!

Think Ricco is one of those who has been found lacking and off if we can get rid. I thought he might be a bargaining chip with N'Zog, but from whats been said on here already, no.

    So. Where will he go?

I'll tell you guys why I'm not so threatened about this team so far. It's because there's no real improvement over last season. So far there are no players who will actually improve and increase the overall ability of the squad. If signings stay similar, then you guys won't be any stronger than last season, where we managed to do reasonably well against you.

Now if you guys start buying quality players to increase the teams level of ability, then I'll start getting a bit worried.

It also happens to be why I'm excited about us. Cabaye is a much better midfielder than Nolan, and Ba is FINALLY a damn good striker who can replace Ameobi and Lovenshit. It's only early days, but at the moment, the team will be much, much stronger than it was compared to last season, merely with the additions of Cabaye, Ba and the return of Ben Arfa.

I can see your point of view. To be fair Gardener will improve us because we had no goal scoring midfielders last season and he was B'hams top scorer. Bent and Gyan could not play together so Bent going and Wickham coming in should bring the best from Gyan. We also have Sessegnon who did not play against you guys, he looks a very good player and will be our play maker next season.

Our biggest loss is Judas but to be honest I would rather have Gyan, he is younger, has more flair and will create as many as he scores.

Next season will be interesting, I think if we sign a solid centre back we will cope with you next season, but I guess we will see. I am not one of these people who will slag Newcastle off for the sake of it, I think you have a good side again and will certainly be challenging to be top of the middle table league which is also where we will be.

You know what its like when you have had a good day, in the pub with your mates mulling over things, happy and carefree. Then an annoying voice keeps butting in, sorry chaps, I know you have no intrest in what I have to say but I will say it anyway.

Getting like that for me today on here.

He probably will, but I'm not sure by how much considering that Henderson is gone. Wickham is also completely unproven so again it's a risky move which may or may not improve the quality of the squad.

It's early days though. I do still suspect Bruce to bring in players who will provide much improvement over those in current positions. He'll have to if he wants to push onwards and upwards. Every single team is really upping their game for next season, so you guys have to as well.

Same. Should be fun. We don't have very long to wait at all until the first encounter as well. Not sure if that's a good thing considering that we'll have quite a raw team for next year, but it's nice not having to wait <ok>
