Some time ago I was given approx. 50 matchday programs, all from the 50s and 60s the earliest is 14 Feb 1959 (vs Bristol Rovers) and the latest is 5 April 1969 (vs Arsenal) If anyone is interested in having these I would be happy to pass them on (post free!)

If these are still available I would love them for my old man. He’s 95 now but in the 50’s and early 60’s he followed the lads all over. As you said post free I will gladly make a donation to the Bradley fund if that is ok. My name is alan reed thanks

That's very generous of you - I'd better send them first class!

My step-father passed away this week and my sister and I are in the process of clearing his (rented) house. He loved everything about the club but due to Ill health hadn't been able to attend matches for a number of years. Clearing his bedroom we've found 17 programs ranging from Feb 03 to Apr 08 which need a new home. If anyone is interested then happy to post them to you otherwise they'll go in the recycling :emoticon-0106-cryin.

Back in the day my dad used to walk to roker park from Blackhall as he only had the money for the bus one way and his admission money. Can’t see kids today doing that

Just back from taking those programmes to dad. Amazing to see the years roll away as he talked about all of the players and most of those games. Made his day so thank you again for letting me have these.
