A lot of City fans were asking for our opinion (KingFut) on Gedo over Twitter, so we wrote a profile/scouting report on him with stats and extended highlights (including him owning John Terry, ha). Enjoy, http://www.kingfut.com/2013/01/20/player-profile-gedo/
At the Afcon he played just off the CF (who was Zidan) and was he superb. And as you see from the goals, many of them were poacher-like. Recently he's been purely a striker though, only this year he's been getting into form there.
We need someone who is a penalty box striker. We have enough players who play 'just off' the main striker.
As I said, he's been playing as a CF all this year, scoring regularly on all stages. What's wrong with versatility?
i asked the question elsewhere , but it seems like its all answered here , he seems promising and the type of player we could do with . I hope he has the character to settle quite quickly , though im sure the team will make him feel very welcome - along with the Allams
If he's going to settle anywhere in England, he will settle here. I'm sure The Allams would make him feel very welcome
Good work Apthh. My question is,will he be happy playing in this cold weather, and on a slippery pitch ? He will have no time to acclimatise. We need someone who will start scoring straight away.
Most of Bruce's foreign exports (rodallega, palacios, zaki and so on...) all seem to have an instant impact, which is really want we need. A lot of them have maybe not continued on due to various reasons but we need players that will burst onto the scene
It was snowing in Japan when Al Ahly played at the Club World Cup, didn't seem bothered by it, but I agree with westhulltiger.
My pleasure, glad you're enjoying the coverage. Really hope these moves happen. UTT. P.S. Fathi profile is published - will post a new thread.
