It was that sort of win today
The sort we hope they´d always play,
As adjectives go, the above three will do
To describe how we kept Wolves at bay

We harried and pressed everywhere
One of the things Neil has made clear,
And when chances came, our boys were not lame
As the three points they edged ever near

In the early stages Wolves held on
After half chances it wasn´t long,
Before Johnson rose, in a high-flying pose
To nod one and then we were gone

Ruddy did have one save to make
And that was just before the break,
So well had we fought, and also out thought
Jackett and Co, left ín our wake

Some response was surely to come
And sure enough they weren´t so numb,
In the second half, but still the game´s graph
Showed City as the dominant one

The second scored at the right time
Just as they were mounting a climb,
Ended all hope, and lessened their scope
For Neil and McAvoy - Sublime! OTBC

Great summary RBF and I'm gutted I missed being there. It's the last home game I'll miss this season.

´Fraid I only write what I hear JR, as I only ever get to see the highlights, but it certainly sounded like a good one to be at yesterday, boiling up nicely for the next two or three :)
