Having been an R since the 50's and born in cheering distance of LR it is great to see how we have progressed since TF and the Mittels took over from the very unprofessional duo and Paladini.

It is great to see all the new signings and the possibilities. Years ago if we signed someone they would get a cup of tea and a bacon sandwich in one of the local cafes. Now they have rigorous medicals and (hopefully now) watertight contracts.

The backroom staff that have been brought in include teachers for youngsters, scouts based abroad, specialist medical people. the Academy will grow with youngsters properly looked after. I see we have signed a Pompey youngster and let us make more kids want to come to us. they will have access to first class facilities with the new training ground where they will mix with players who have really made their mark in world football. Hopefully in the next few years the next Sterling will want to stay.

There is, of course, the new ground wherever it may be but with PB on board it will be done professionally. A multiuse facility that will make money. It will be just another part of the jigsaw that will attract good players and youngsters.

What other team has an aircraft painted in our colours and it seems we are now well known in Asia and now Brazil.

From the days of the Third Division South, through the great times of the 60's and 70's, admin to today. what a ride.

It is heaven. I just hope I haven't died and it is really heaven.

Is all we have to do now is win some football matches

Exactly, we just have to win a few games.

    Good post by the way.

Do you live in Spain? I lived out there for 4 years in Alicante and Malaga.

Great feel good factor at the moment. I can't help thinking that with this quality of players coming in, a new ground must not be that far away. Happy days.

Finglas. Yes moved here permanently over five years ago. Draw a line between Malaga and Cordoba and another between Sevilla and Granada and thats where we are. Small village with only 8 permanent Brits but most of our friends are locals. Going down to Malaga for the day on Saturday with friends. be nice to get away from the heat for a while. its been very hot. 45-50C.

One day I will get our friends to pronounce Queens Park Rangers properly.

I wont start to feel good until we win an away premiership game and not get hammered by our London rivals such as Chelsea and Fulham and teams like Swansea at home. Its all very well signing these big name players who are here for the money but id rather have lesser names who put it all in every week and play as a team and get results. Example Norwich last season, Swansea this. The season is very early and we shouldnt start to judge until at least 10 games have gone. Exciting times on paper now is the time to produce on the pitch. Come on you Rs.
