How can you expect discipline from the players when you see this from managers? I know it was a pressure game, a bit feisty with some bad decisions, but you can't condone this from managers. The 4th official didn't know where to look.
Simple solution Remote, Take away the 4th official they dont do a lot other than hold up a board for subs or added time. Man ure have always been one of the worst teams for hounding a Ref, which is surprising as most of the 50/50 decisions go there way.
Cvd That's why they go their way!!! Clattenburg made a right mess of it though after he got right the Ivanovic sending off. I've never forgiven him for not giving the Pedro Mendes long range goal for Spurs at Manure or for allowing Nani's "goal" when Spurs' Gomes put the ball down for the free kick that never was - also given in favour of Manure. Bit of a common theme there with Clattenburg and Manure?
i think its calmed down a lot in recent years, go back 8 years and you had mourinho's chelsea and keane for man u hassling and surrounding the ref every time there was a decision, look at united's team nowadays and you dont have any strong characters, so in that respect i think things have improved hugely........ there was a time when it really was a disgrace but there are some very good refs in the game, their job is made impossible by the media and cheating players......
there`s no morals in football>>>>im not shocked given the money on offer for winning.....its turned from just winning 2 winning at all costs mind>>>>so cheating is ok if it aint against your team. the ref yest was always gonna bring chelsea back into the chasing pack,its all a sham if u ask me and the game is corrupt from the top down. ps had 2 laugh at the everton manager yesterday after saying about cheats pushing fans away from the game,his captain went and got booked for fking diving himself ....top flight joke league
