I met Gordon Banks a few years ago,Gordon said that one of the England defenders said it was not such a great save as made out. Can't remember who the defender but he said Gordon tripped over his own feet and was sprawling his arms out to save himself(gordon) Well whatever,its still a good story with an even better World class save. I have the the whole match on video if any would like to borrow my copy
Its still the best save I've ever seen Peter Shilton in his Leicester and Forest heydays made some fantastic saves but the Brazil one of Banky's will possibly never be beaten for what it is and where it was.
