Setting up this thread as Deion Saunders and Jerry Rice will make their picks this night.

The first picks have been done yesterday, Sanders picked Jamaal Charles and J.J. Watt, Rice picked Drew Brees and Robert Quinn. These four will be the team captains.

After this there were some more picks, all the be found here: http://probowl.fantasy.nfl.com/

Let's hope this pro bowl setup is going to be better than in the last couple of years.

There's more than one JJ Watt and Deion got them? Lucky man.

Seriously though, typical of Brees' team to pick the two Saints guards first (the best in the league didn't go until 5th..). The best centre in the league didn't go until third, either. Both teams are pretty even so far - Team Deion has the best DL by a long way but Jerry's OL is much better than Sanders'.

Also Team Deion has the Colts coaches so I'm tempted to root for Team Jerry for that reason... but I'll probably just end up supporting whoever drafts Luck.

As I am not into NFL as much as most if not all of you. Which team has made the best picks?

Not overly surprising considering he wasn't even initially selected and only got in through player withdrawals. There's always silly snubs in the Pro Bowl but the O-Line selections are always farcical, just shows how much Average Joe NFL fan knows about those players I suppose.

I've never been a big hater of the Pro Bowl although it's fairly pointless, and the draft idea was interesting but this so far seems gimmicky to the extreme.

I didn't really want to answer because I thought it'd be hilarious to see what Cove thinks, but **** it. I'll rank the players by position based on form this season (in my opinion of course). (J) is for Team Jerry and (D) is for Team Deion:

    DT:

    McCoy (D)
    Suh (D)
    Williams (J)
    Hatcher (J)
    Dareus (J)
    Poe (D)

    C:

    Mack (D)
    Kalil (J)
    Pouncey (D)
    Mangold (J)

    OG:

    Mathis (J)
    Grubbs (J)
    Yanda (D)
    Evans (J)
    Mankins (D)
    Long (D)

    FB:
    Tolbert (J)
    Reece (D)

    P:
    Hekker (J)
    Fields (D)

    ST:
    Bethel (J)
    Slater (D)

Think that's everyone picked so far. Looks pretty even by my reckoning.

Yeah, Jeff Saturday going last year was particularly hilarious. Love the guy, but he was sat half way through the year.

I'm hoping tonight isn't like last night - homer picks all the way.

It was a hard decision to make because all six of them had a really good season. It's very close between the last three there.

Rice's defense with Tolbert, Quinn, Kalil and Mathis is what stands out for me on last night's picks, so far I'm liking Rice's picks over Deion's.

With Kalil, Mathis and Tolbert, Brees has pretty good protection. And if this pro bowl is going to be a bit more rougher than in recent years, Quinn to get a couple of sacks. I'm curious who's going to get Peterson and Brandon Flowers tonight. Plus Tolbert had a couple of good runs against the 49'ers two weeks ago.

He's going to need good protection against that D line! Ain't no one getting through that running wise!

Houston Charles is going to be a fun match up, if the trades don't mess it up
