I know the majority of you will say good
Priskin has gone by mutual consent
Personally I feel we have misused him but regardless it seemed pointless keeping him here if we couldnt find a mutual benefical way of playing him

The lad has great potential and I think if was to get a run of games in a settled side could be a decent player but clearly somethings not quite right with him, anyone else get a feeling we should be doing this with more of our players I mean releasing them??

    PTC - alright mate?
Personally I think Priskin can be a decent player if you want a penalty box player and can get in decent crosses on a regular basis. Unfortunately we have never played in this way whilst he has been here.
In relation to releasing other players - yep most of the squad can go. Delaney, Leadbitter, Edwards, Ellington and unless he gets his act together Chopra can all leave and I wouldnt care

Another transfer fee we have given away! FFS! How can we run a business like this! We paid £1.7 Million for what amounts to 1 goal against the Gooners. I despair at this football club!

He is far too lazy and showed no commitment or desire so IMO we are better off rid of him.

It's not the player - it was the club's handling of him - it's hardly an isolated case.

Worse news is that Shane O'connor would appear set to go back to Ireland.

Lancs i have to disagree, the player has undoubted talent but is too damn lazy and more to the point, looks like he just cant be arsed most of the time. No place in any team for players like that!!

It was the player that was not willing to run for the ball or bother to put the opposition under pressure when they had the ball, If he was a good player he would of used the chances he was given to either force his way into the starting lineup or to attract buyers.

Just goes to show that our football club is a complete ****ing shambles!

Supple - Left by mutual consent and retired from football altogether
Colin Healy - Contract terminated after 5 months of signing a new 2 year deal
Ingimarsson - Contract terminated after barely 6 months
Priskin - Cost us £1.7 Million and we are letting him walk away for nothing

Shame it wasn't Leadtwats I would be willing to drive him to his next club!

Look at Sunderland - did all those players suddenly not become lazy and pants when O'Neill came in?

The very simple fact is that our managers aren't capable of getting the best out of people.

Better to get rid of the deadwood JWM than to keep paying wages to players that lack the Ability/desire/realisation about how lucky they are/legs.

Yeah even if they paid up in full i'd rather they did that and freed up his space on the coach for one of the youth team, sometimes you need to cut your losses even if it was your mistake....

I have to agree with Weighty, there are players who we want shot of from the squad but then complain when we let them go. Sure, in an ideal world we would want to sell them, but if we can't then it must be better to get rid than wait 'til the end of their contract.

It now begs the question WHY did Jewell play him on Saturday if he knew he was being released?

Why not bring on Chopra instead...?

I can't really fathom Jewell's thinking at all!
