Would I love them lot to sit next to me at the game, or what?

Also if I was Wigan I'd invite our travelling fans to take Choo & Co's places in the 'posh' seats.

Sparkey...I ain't half missed our spats.....the whole point of the OP was to take a stance wasn't it?

My first thought on this issue, before reading the detail, was good on them.
I think it is clear VT made the decision on the travel ban because he is aggreived the FA are still "deliberating" on Malkygate.
The board members have decided it is in their best interest to accept the ban and issue the statement. So does money talk? Would board members accept the decision based on fear of reprisals and ultimately having to leave the club. VT would surely make life uncomfortable for any board member who defied him.

Is VT right in highlighting, by this action, his belief that the FA are dragging out the Malkygate affair? It's possible VT believes the FA are hoping it's forgotten and it will be swept under the carpet. Has any statement come from Kick It Out?
Personally I think it is right to highlight the racism but a show of solidarity and turning up at the game would have been a better option. A much more positive headline I feel would be a fingers up to any racist.

Whiff - the point of the OP was to invoke discussion and it certainly has done that. As for taking a stance, we can only either go on gut feeling or factual knowledge.

The point is we're all pretty strong on the former but totally lacking on the latter. People tend to interpret things along the lines of their gut feelings and that can be a mistake.

our club is fking tragic lets be honest about it here>>>>>>petty crap constantly pulling us into a downward spiral is making me puke...................

I would have preferred it if this had not been today's talking point.

It is yet another example of us doing Malky's team talk for him. Silence would again have been golden, until after the game maybe.

We have a real opportunity of winning 3 points tonight but this just deflects issues away from the pitch.

If Choo et al go and sit with our fans, will they join in the Ayatollah, we'll always be blue and anti-Malky chants?

Back four would be Sparkey and Whiffletree because they are stubborn, at right back Dai Jones and TaffTheFish on the left if he can get back in time! Bit like the Pontypool front row that lot eh?

If it's a back five, Masky would add glamour to this area of play!

Ahhh, but I've taken no stance though have I?

Anyway, what is Our Best Back Four?........<laugh>
gotta be peltier,manga,morrison, fabio surely.

to answer the OP i think it has to do with principles, if someone used a derogatory term to describe us welsh in a bad light i wouldn't want to be in their company wither not to mention that there is evidence to show that both Whelan and Mackay are racist and as a result (may not reflect the supporters views) the club publicly says that racism has a place in football and our 1st world society (it doesn't, as seen with the fallout after the Chelsea fans incident recently), so i can understand the board not wanting to go to the game as a sign of solidarity for our owner Mr. Tan

what anti-Malky chants?

Masky.....me stubborn!!! Never.......just refuse to give an inch under any circumstances.

Not sure me & Sparkey would be much use at Centre Back....we'd be arguing all game.
