A thought occurred to me today This EBT carry on is looking more and more like deliberate fraud. Now no one commits massive fraud on a whim nor do they start with a massive crime....at the very least this sort of thing is worked up too So, what dirty little dealings were around prior to the EBTs? Furthermore, do you think that EBTs at the very least, were only paid to players? Why not staff? Why not coaches? Dignified Managers and possibly reporters....? As I said, few people start their criminal careers with a massive heist, would any of the above be outwith the realms of possibility?
I know what you are saying, but my opinion is that EBT's offered the opportunity for this to take place rather than them seeking it out. If that opportunity had presented itself elsewhere......yeah, why not. I have heard a couple of rumours about the scope of Hector's investigations, but I don't know for sure. I'd not be at all surprised to see misappropriation of the scheme across the Murray empire including the people you have mentioned.

Was it not on this forum last week, if not this forum certainly another, where a poster said his mother had worked for (I think 16 years) at Ibrox or catering or some other department. She left last year and went back recently to get details of her employment but there was no record. Would this be an example of cash under the counter payment to avoid Nat. Ins. and Income Tax. It might be the truth or it maybe some idiot thinking he was smart.
