Hernandez remains a major doubt having been spotted hobbling back onto the team bus wearing a protective boot! Whilst no players apart from Casilla covered themselves with any glory from the weekends performance, its fair to say that Harrison and Bamford had particularly poor games. Will Bielsa recall now fit again Roofe to the starting line up? Should Alioski move to his more familiar role of left wing, and bring in Berardi in to left back? Perhaps Brown will be make his debut - The England U20 International is very familiar with the left wing role! Surely its time to at least give him an opportunity to see what he can do? Preston have slipped to 10th place having suffered back to back loses against Reading and the Blades. The Lilywhites currently occupy 10th place, and are five points off sixth place. Alex Neil's side have limited options as Tom Barkhuizen and Andrew Hughes are ruled out for the remainder of the season, joining long-term absentees Billy Bodin and Josh Harrop on the sidelines.
18 views but no comments, think that speaks for it's self. If we don't win this one defo no to autos.
Not sure I could take the stress. It’s not our absolute last chance but it is true we are running out of them.
Every game is the last chance saloon from qpr onwards. So far we have failed but you never know. A result tomorrow and we go again. But lose and then sheff utd play without nerves once again. We need to put some pressure on.
I’m just nervous about every game now, if we are as fans imagine what the players must feel with the pressure, from here on it it’s all down to how they as players handle that pressure.
Thing is Ristac we are all nervous but we can't do anything about it whereas the players can. Or is it all in the lap of the gods.
Can't say I'm nervous. I've enjoyed our best football season for 15 years, and frankly don't care if we get promoted or not. Great financially, but do I really want us to get cuffed every week in the PL? I honestly think we'd be a more complete team next season. Some of the u23s will have broken through permanently. The next clutch will be hungrily challenging. More deadwood will have been ousted, freeing more wages for some quality. And it'll be another year of fantastic football before we face the uncertainties of the PL. We're in a win-win situation here, so it's something to embrace instead of being nervous. Promotion is not everything. It may actually be the thing that breaks us again. Rich, but broken. Me, I'm just loving it for what it is. Que sera sera. MOT
We have less to lose than your good selves need to win to keep our slim pay off hopes alive, looking forward to this one. There is a match thread on our site as well
Do you ? Season ending game for you,us ? Well we will still have plenty to play for either way,but agree we do need this one.
i was thinking along the same lines as yourself.just imagine if we failed this season to go up.what a season the next would be with as you say some youngsters breakin through and leeds utd showing the rest how to bring on talent. i wanted us to go up autos and wanted to smash this league.i too am not nervous about tonight because its out of our hands now.sheff utd need to get the wobbles and we should just go out and play without fear.if fortunes are reversed tonight then will they crack first. being in second with just a few games to play would do us good. i am not a lover of prem football and the type of player it attracts.
Will Bielsa stay if we don't go up ? Will we buy a decent no 10 ? Can Hernandez carry us another season ?
