Dunno where Masky is, so as it's already Friday night, I've stuck this up for now.

Please feel free to comment on the game tomorrow - if Masky turns up with something, I'll merge the threads. <ok>

Preston so inconsistent and our consistency in losing now shattered. So gawd knows how this one will go.
I think sparkey mentioned on the prediction thread the 6-0 drubbing that cost us a play off place years ago. It's funny that even after all this time, this fixture still brings that nightmare to mind. All in the past now and hopefully we're at a new beginning.

And we didnt lose out on goal difference, but on goals scored as goal difference was level. 5-0, 6-1 and we'd have been fine. Own goals as well.
Know exactly where I was. Trying to listen and getting more incredulous as the goals went in.
I was at Horse of the Year show with my wife and daughter.

Always supported my daughter with her love of horses. She's 26 now but I still helped her fitting her stirrup leathers and holding her horse while she mounted today. Quite like being around them.
A day at a horse show though. I can do without that. Especially when theres football or rugby on.
As you rightly say, a mare.

I was golfing in the West Country and was stunned when I came in to hear the score.
Someone (Kennedy?) scored a brilliant headed og<doh>

McCormack missed a penalty in that game and also in the dismal last game at NP v Ipswich; just one of those goes in and we’d have been in play offs. :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Believe that may have been the game where Jon Parkin outpaced our back 4 to go through and score too....

They were exciting and fun times though, despite the fact we always came a cropper.

Some excellent games, some very good players and big characters and a miserable Scouser for a manager. What more could we have asked for eh? <laugh>

Maybe he'll get to outpace the swans defense this afternoon.

Given how many youngsters are with the 1st team along with their manager and coach, impressive to see another big win for the 23s.
    4-0 against QPR.

A few unexpected changes there. No Ralls anywhere. Moore given a little break after Wales game where he took a bit of stick. Did Bacuna have to travel for an international? Collins back on the bench, not good.

A first start for Zimba, alongside his Under 23 team mates. Hopefully they have a good understanding.

Going to be a tough one.
