Just back from wet n wild Preston- not many that shone out but here goes 1-Bowen for the goal - we need to get it in the net more often and somehow Jarrod did 2- Hector (surprisingly had a good game today) 3- McDonald Good solid start even though he isn't match fit. Honourable mention for Wilson - sparked some life in a disappointing second half and he is definitely a player to watch- Evandro lots of trickery drawing and beating many white defenders but the rest of the team took little advantage from it- Max I Thought played a good game and stuck doggedly to the task at hand Dishonourable mention for Meyler- David really had bad day at the office - frustrating when he's in the groove he can be a really good strong player
Probably the hardest one of the season as no-one in my eyes actually played well. Bowen - He was the only one willing to have a shot or take a man on. Hector - Didn't do anything wrong which qualifies you for the top 3 this week. Evandro - He was brave, he didn't just look to offload the ball or hoof it forwards.
Brave coz he didnt follow orders? Pity a few others didnt disobey too. Tactics, selection, formation all wrong. Again. Particularly tactics. Non-league.
Really hard as we were poor all over. Second half it wasn't easy to pick anyone. Hector - the best I've seen him. He looks better without Dawson. Clarke - did well throughout the first half McGregor - we'd have lost by a lot more if not for him. Hardly had anything to do first half, except pick the ball out of the net. Good piece of ranting at the penalty award.
