Brought it on himself if anything. There's no escape from the reality of the past 4 months whatever the financial constraints that we're advised govern the squad. http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/cardiff-city-boss-russell-slade-8548248
It's a shame he only walked out of the press conference. I hope he keeps walking all the way out of the club.
So he cant even answer questions from 3rd rate(if that journalists). Derby will batter us tomorrow. Will Tan sack him? Probably not and I doubt hed employ anyone decent anyway. I think hes worse than Ole.
Not excusing Slade's walkout or his dismal record but WoL have changed their tack here in response to criticisms made of their non-confrontational style - until now. If you read WoL on line (and I know many don't) you will have seen many respondents to their articles complaining about the easy time they have given Slade. Clearly they have read these posts and decided to beef up their questioning. After Tucker, Wathen is seen as the pet rottweiler for such challenges. Looks like we'll shortly be back to the days of WoL excluded from such conferences. However, Slade should have fronted up and not thrown Teddy from the pram.
