Surely putting this sort of pressure on Gale won't help matters or SC efforts.. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...tml?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490
To be honest we should have done exactly the same to Maynard when he refused to go to Leicester for £7m.
I totally agree. But, he must be considering it seriously or he wouldn't waste his time at AG on a pointless cause.
I disagree with him being forced to sign away. It is unfair on any player. If he doesn't want to sign then he shouldn't have to. Also the money being quoted is a bit ludicrous as it's weird to spend lots on one player rather than a few players for reasonable sums of money. Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
Starting to have an issue with this supposed transfer as it appears that he doesn't want to be here, so why bother? If he does decide to come just tell him he will be working for an owner who isn't like Steve Parrish who by my books isn't a very nice person and you only have to look at his managerial hirings and firings to know why. I agree with bcfcredandwhite in how we should have handled the Nicky Maynard saga but nonetheless Gayle seems to be under a veiled threat at Selhurst Park and the reasoning behind that state of affairs has to be questioned. Is it the club or is there another issue behind his potential alienation and is it possible that the player is at fault for other than refusing to come to Ashton Gate? The whole episode is starting to look like a poisoned chalice.
****ing hell a lot of people on here have short memories! We went through a similar situation with Sam Baldock (also the same thing drop sell on fee of another player) a lot of us believed the hype that he didn't want to be here. It went on for ****ing weeks till he finally arrived. He's looking at options as he wants the best for HIS future not to pacify fans here. Be a bit patient and wait and see, Sam didn't turn out to bad.
His thoughts on the transfer are his own and he does seem to have major issues whatever they may be. He has every right to voice his concerns and do what's right for himself which might point to the fact that he doesn't want to come here. Let the chips fall where they may I suppose but I think that this transfer will fall through the cracks.
Personally I think there is a very good chance he will come, why because if it was dead in the water the player, his club, and bcfc would be saying it is dead. I think a deal is being thrashed out all party's are happy with . I think this could be a goer
and yet City are supposedly expressing renewed interest in Andre Grey of Brentford. I reckon its a no go (but I accept no criticism if we sign Gayle, I will be too busy practicing cartwheels)
