For the first time in about 30 years, I've been buying the Sunday Mirror, because their coverage of us is so good. In fact, the piece on our game yesterday was so big that I actually missed it first time round and had to go back and look for it. If we play a midweek game though, it's harder to find a decent write-up. What sources are fellow Addicks using to get coverage, particularly for midweek games? One thing I can't find anywhere, not even on the OS, is how many Addicks were at Bramall Lane yesterday - we sold 900 tickets pre-game. Any estimates?
I just use the web nowdays - The reports and player ratings on this site alone are far better than any tabloid writing, much more accurate too. I think we're grounded and like a moan too so they aren't even particularly biased... I like the Mirror's sport during the week though - Oliver Holt and Robbie Savage's columns are a decent read.
Tweakes, I think it was 1200-1300. Dunno where I've got that figure from, but there was a good crowd packed in there. Not sure how many spaces there were at the edges
Get the sunday times out of habit sport section very good BUT If it aint premiership then it aint reported
I'm a huge fan of Oliver holt- whether I agree with him or not. For that reason I'm a loyal mirror reader. But your right about midweek read ups- it is near impossible to find anything. If I was the kind of guy who writes in to places and complain, that would be top of my list. A2C.. Help?
Yep, The Football League Paper is the best for all round decent coverage. I buy The People for the football, and chuck the rest away. We always get a good report in there. Their reports fit my scrapbook quite nicely. We had just over a thousand in Sheffield yesterday. The noise we made was superb.
for midweek games The Sun usually provide a decent write up have to admit since the NOTW i've been looking at The Sunday Mail, usually fairly decent coverage when we're at home but not so much when we're away but they do very good sports coverage in general like Rugby and Cricket so that works for me. I'd imagine The Football League paper would be the best for football reports though as others have said.

Were 14's at one point but I stuck 20 down when we were 12's. was thinking last night I perhaps should have put more in whilst at 14's. Hindsight and all that.
