BBC Humberside Sport ‏@HumbersideSport We'll have the latest team news from #sufc & #gtfc later, however, there'll be no #hcafc update due to expected press day being cancelled.
Wonder why, here's hoping it's because Brucey is elsewhere sorting out a transfer and let's be honest, we're playing our second string and we already know Aluko and Koren are out with minor injuries.
I heard a whisper that Huddersfield have snatched the meyler deal from under our noses and that's why it's cancelled.
I heard party chinned Brucey at his birthday bash, he can't face the cameras his face is mashed up so badly his nose is straight.
Id normally be quite worried about such a rumour but I cannot think of a single reason this would happen. He's clearly only signing for us because a) we're in with a decent chance of promotion and b) Steve Bruce. Im pretty sure he'll be coming here for less money so that doesnt seem to motivate him. So Im boldly calling this piffle.
I forgot to mention in that post, that Huddersfield have also sneakily snatched Steve Bruce without the media realising.
Why would Meyler consider Udders when they are mid table and he has the option of coming to us, a chance at the PL and supposedly happy here? Unless he's completely in it for the money!
Just googled it and got this, i'm pretty sure it's a **** up. http://www.itv.com/sport/football/update/2013-01-01/meyler-set-for-huddersfield-move/
He doesn't, it's just a **** up by ITV. The real reason the press conference has been cancelled, is that we haven't paid the lecky bill at the KC and as a consequence, the microphones won't work.
So at the next night match with they ask for the whole crowd to but their hands in the air to get the flood lights going as "Many hands make light work"
I am now reliably informed that it hasn't been cancelled, there was never one scheduled, so I'm not sure what Blunderside have tweeted that for. Maybe they've put Gwilym in charge of Twitter.
BBC Humberside Sport ‏@HumbersideSport To clarify re: #hcafc presser, it was our expectation there would be one as usual but was never formally arranged so not actually cancelled. BBC Humberside Sport ‏@HumbersideSport Informed by the club that due to busy Xmas & New Year period, players & coaching staff have taken an 'extra' day off. #hcafc
Makes sense to have the extra day off, clearly not taking the FA Cup too seriously despite what SB will say pre match. But who cares when we need to focus on promotion. Morons at H'Side as usual, backtracking and trying to save face, basically trying to convince us it's the club's fault for not telling them we hadn't arranged a press day...
If Party is that handy with his fists he can come with us when we go and sort out the Chuckle Brothers. Always got the impression Party was a proper handful in a row, this just proves it.
