Press conference called for tomorrow...

Seeing as the usual pre match press conference was today then tomorrows must surely be about an incoming player. I've never heard of a press conference being arranged to confirm the sale of a player so it will be either about a signing, JK leaving or Pardew leaving.

I highly doubt it's JK, it almost definitely won't be Pardew given the fact he's just done a press release about the goings on at the club etc so I think it's a new player (and a relatively big name player too).

Pardew said today no signings are close but we've heard that before only for a player to arrive the following day. I reckon Pardew is saying nobody is close to stop other teams coming over the top of our bid and contract offer. My prediction is Gourcuff or Thauvin as other clubs are interested in these...it won't be Gomis as our interest in him is already public so Pardew would have no reason to keep his signing quiet.

A question of wait and see I guess.

According to Twitter comments, pardew has stated in his press conference that we are "carrying some tired bodies" after the game against Man City.

WTF is he talking about.

Hes stating that because some had to play 45 minutes with 10 men on the pitch they are slightly fatigued.

This guy has gotta go. We have had 1 game, 4 days ago. Some players (from top euro clubs) are playing 2 games a week consistantly after travelling all around europe. Not including International games.

Our players should be fit as a fiddle and raring to go, what the **** is wrong with them!
