Saw this on NewsNow and thought that's another reason why we ****ing love Grant Holt! The man is desperate to play, but when he starts on the bench he praises Morison and says he understands the manager's decision - no prima donna dummy spitting!
morison played well again on saturday. ferdinand and gabbidon couldn't cope with him at all. holt seems to be best utilised at the moment as an impact sub. didn't think i'd be saying that at the beginning of the season!!
Morison has been brilliant, at the moment he must be 'undroppable'. But Holt keeps doing what Holt does! As managerial headaches go, it's not a bad one to have is it? Too many in-form strikers, happy days!
what a complete pro, he said the same thing on MOTD as well. Legend also, i know it's been said before, but the guy looks like he has lost weight as well this season, top notch
True pro to be captain and to put in these kind of performances from the bench rather than expecting to be in the starting 11. Good to see and good for competition as Morison knows he has to keep it up!
What a top top bloke and is part of the reason why Lambert is such a great manager as he seems to have instilled (or perhaps reinforced) that attitude across the entire squad. Top chaps, all of them!
Just a word of praise here for Bradley Johnson. I don't like to single out players as it detracts from the team but I have been so impressed with his quiet but magnificent work in the middle of the pitch. The strikers will get the spotlight naturally but to me he is now shading Tierney as our MVP. Great talent spotting by the backroom staff there.
great sliding tackle WITH HIS HEAD too!! never seen that done before!! i personally thought crofts and johnson did well. qpr had quite a bit of possession but they never really threatened us much. good defensive work in midfield. we lacked a bit going forward but looked pretty solid for once (apart from the mistakes for the goal)
Grant Holt, love him, but if he played against us I'd bloody hate him ! As the saying goes, 'I'd rather have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside the tent pissing in !' Off topic, but the Binners evidently have now given up playing with eleven men, take a look here: http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/104349-15-man-team
