Just a bit of fun - i was just wondering what people would select as their premiership team of the season so far? Plenty of room for discussion! For me personally:

    Lloris

    Bellerin Morgan Alderweireld Fuchs

    Mahrez Kante Alli Payet

    Kane Vardy

Though arguements could be made the Payet isnt a LM.

Notable mentions to our entire squad, Charlie Daniels, Rose, Ozil, Willian, Smalling, Coutinho, Lukaku and Ighalo

    Schmeichel
    Simpson Morgan Huth Fuchs
    Mahrez Kante Drinkwater Albrighton
    Okazaki Vardy

    Got to be surely?

I would pick the same first team as you but would have Cresswell over Trippier, Drinkwater over Noble and Lukaku over Ighalo as subs.

Seems John Terry thinks most of our team should be included.

    His PFA team nomination;

    Schmeichel
    Smalling Huth Morgan Bertrand
    Mahrez Drinkwater Kante Payet
    Vardy Kane.

Player of the season : Mahrez

If John Terry has Smalling in at right back he needs to seriously look at himself in the mirror.

I always enjoy doing team of the seasons. I guess it could give a genuine neutral's opinions.

    -----------------------Lloris-----------------------

    Bellerin----Smalling---Alderweireld----Fuchs

    ----------------Kante----------Alli----------------

    Mahrez-----------------Ozil--------------Payet

    ------------------------Kane---------------------

Subs: De Gea, Rose, Morgan, Dier, De Bruyne, Vardy, Lukaku

Sorry for leaving Vardy out guys (shouldn't have posted this on the Leicester board really <laugh>) but as soon as I pick that formation and its only one striker it makes it tough for him. Kane has to be in there for me.

The fact is, all of those bar probably Albrighton and Okazaki have a realistic shot at being in the team of the season.

Agree, though i think that whoever chooses it will only have 1 CB and 1 CM from the same club, this is why i think DD and Morgan (think Huth has been a big difference since hes been with us and should prob get the nod) will probably not be selected, although they should be discussed.

Ones in bold have to be in for me, the underlined will probably be discussed but won't be in it so they can include a broader team coverage, not really fair, but you can see why they don't want all the players from the same club.

    Schmeichel
    Simpson Morgan Huth
    Fuchs
    Mahrez
    Kante Drinkwater Albrighton
    Okazaki Vardy

Though he may miss out on TOTY, DD's chances have surely gone up of getting to the euros if Hendersons injury is as bad as expected.

Fair point actually - if Hendo is out then that makes DD a shoe-in i think as a defensive-minded CM.

I think Vardy's record makes him a guarantee for the TOTS, as well as Kante and Mahrez.

Alderweireld is guaranteed i think so one of Huth/Morgan will make it i imagine - Morgan due to his captaincy for me but you could toss a coin and no one would bat an eye-lid too much.

    Guaranteed for me:

    GK

    Bellerin Alderweireld LCFC LB

    Mahrez Kante CM Payet

    Kane Vardy

Leaving any goalkeeper - Butland, Schmeichel, De Gea and Lloris to fight it out

    CB - Huth or Morgan

Any LB - Fuchs, Bertrand or Rose

And a CM - to be fought between Alli, Ozil and Drinkwater

Think Alli will probably get it, Ozil would have been a shoo in if he'd kept up his form from last year, but you can't argue that Allis been a big impact on Spurs season.
