Premiership or Championship next season? Where do you think we will be playing next season and give your main reasons below...
Sorry to say it, but the Championship. We are throwing away and have thrown away so many points this season. Hughes hasnt had the impact on results either so far, which is worrying. All that, with improvements in the other teams aswell, I think we will only be in the PL for one season im afraid. Its gutting to see how well Norwich and Swansea are doing and we cant even at least match it.
The fat lady hasn't even left home yet!! Until it is mathematically impossible, we are premiership and staying there!
I think we will be relegated, I'd love to be proven wrong. Reasons: 1) from the very start the previous owners mucked us up by not selling quick enough! 2) Having to play championship players in the premiership was never going to work 3) Management.
I think it's all on the next three games, we need 7 points minimum before we hit the tougher fixtures, if we don't win any of those three then we are done for...
I notice it's now down to the next 3 games or 4 games or whatever, we played 2 of the bottom 3 teams in the last 2 weeks and got stuffed. how are we meant to remain positive in light of that? the players don't seem to be doing anything differently under hughes than warnock. all joeys twittering doesn't change things on the pitch. personally I think we're screwed and watching the first 20 mins today hasn't inspired me to say anything differently sorry.
Afraid to say but really can't see us staying up the last 2 weeks have been crucial & the team has failed. The fact is we just don't perform in the 6 pointers (Wigan aside) & that's going to cost us. On the plus side we'll have a strong side to have a great chance to come straight back up.
I hope we remember this defeatist thread at the end of the season and bump it back up. We will stay up no prob, including a couple of wins in our run in.
