Does anyone have the Low-Down on Premier Rules & Regs. My Take is the following on what I've gathered, anyone know different. With FFP in the Premier it doesn't seem there is much effect with the money coming in until a team gets into the European places and then UEFA rules seem to kick-in (ala PSG). And of course relegation can cause all sorts of problems. The Loan scheme means you can only sign 2 Premier players on loan, but can still sign players from abroad on loan. So the Schurrle loan should not effect the 2 loan limit. The 1st team squad should have at least 5 'Home Grown' in an allowed squad of 25 players, it does/does not ?include U21? players who are exempt (hence why top 6 teams try to buy Young English to bulk their squad while not playing them).
Had a look through the Premier League Handbook and believe you are correct on all counts SuperBri. Since Loans are probably our immediate priority might be worth adding that the rules are a wee bit more specific. The EPL handbook says: - Premier League clubs may not register more than two players on loan from any (English) Football League club at any one time - The maximum number of loans registrable in the same season is four, and, under no circumstances, shall more than one be from the same club at any one time - Premier League clubs cannot loan to another Premier League club a player they have acquired in the same transfer window
