Coming on BBC3 now. Should be a good way for us all to get excited for the new season, let's see what the BBC have come up with. 4-4 better be there.

Incredible day. The buzz everyone you spoke to that day had was amazing. Never been so excited for MoTD.

I only caught the top 6, quite funny to see Shearer's boring celebration at No. 4 I think it was. Have to be honest, watching the Aguero goal still gets me buzzing and I have no affiliation to Man City whatsoever!

Frustrating! I'm usually really good at playing spot the difference, but I can't see a single thing in this one. Are you sure you haven't simply used the same pic twice ACS?

You got to love Robbie man, just don't take him too seriously as he is a bit mental and clueless. Game for a laugh though. I have to say he was fecking awful on that and has no hope of doing a Vinnie Jones!

It was a good show to watch and look back. I still love watching Bergkamp in his pomp for Arsenal. What a player. As Pallister noted he was no shrinking violet and thats what I loved about him. He got kicked from pillar to post but he gave a bit back. Having all three goals in a goal of the month says it all. One of which was Southampton in one of my favourite games ever. The likes of Dodd, Kenna, Benali, Monkou decided they would kick him out of the game. Little did they know Dennis was a bit firey and it just made his shots harder! I think a 4-2 walloping was the end result with two from the genius.

I love people who can buck back at adversity rather than moan about it. Like Ben Ainslie with the Dutch and Danish pricks in the sailing (like I even understand sailing fully <laugh>)

The Liverpool v Sunderland beach ball incident was in the top 5. Commentator said the beach ball was joint 5th top scorer for the Mackems that season, same amount of goals as Jordan Henderson

    <laugh> Had forgotten about that!

Even though it was in favour of the mackems, it was still funny. Used to work with a dipper at that time and he was fuming! But I was a good boy and didn't tease him at all.

Thats reminded me of the thing on old 606 ..usernames full of "could be worse, could be liverpool" or something similar. It was put a stop to by "unbiased" 606 mods, but was hilarious.

Ahhhh, I remember a lot of username changing in those BBC days. At varying points lots of Toon fans' user names included either 'Badger', 'Bassong' or 'Deluded' - I'm sure there were many others. By the way, I 'zapped' you earlier Dr S. <ok>
