Thought these stats from MSN's website were intresting. Maybe walters does need a rest!



1. Steven Gerrard - Distance covered 207.86km

2. Jonathan Walters - Distance covered 206.74km

3. Leon Osman - Distance covered 204.77km

4. Mikel Arteta - Distance covered 202.64km

5. Bradley Johnson - Distance covered 201.62km

 

It's not about quantity it's about quality!!

 

I think you would need to break down the miles total into miles per minute played. Walters has played pretty much every minute of every game where I know for a fact that Gerrard and Arteta have missed games through injury and fitness.

That said, no one can question Walter's work ethic, but as Nick says its quality that matters more than anything.

 

If he had done it on the road he would be in Peterborough.

 

That's who he should be playing for, would save the bus fare!

 

If he'd run the other way he would probably have drowned (sp) it's only Mr P who thinks he can run on water!!
