Herd on the Talk sport today that prices for next season at QPR have risen by 40% they also say because the PL only play 19 homes games instead of the 23 in the Championship the overall increase is 67%! £70 odd quid a game. Add travel & few beers etc, too much for the average family.Maybe that's why the PL fans are all plastic!

Although i`m a S/T holder plus two Jr Lions S/T, i still have to be selective on the away games we go to due to cost. So my question is much as we would break the bank, could you guy`s really afford to go home and away in the PL?

If you look at the assholes that own the club, this isnt to be unexpected, i have read somewhere that the owners aim is to turn qpr into a 'boutique club' which basically means turf all the proper fans who have been there for ****in years and bring in all the ****in yuppies.
If I was a qpr fan rite now i would be properly ****ed off, but what can you do?

Turn them into another Chelsea in laymans! <doh>

This would never happen at our place with JB in charge as he appreciates us real fans far too much to do that although ticket prices would rise if we make the Prem because that's inevitable unfortunately. <ok>

Dont go, is the honest answer rockymountainlion, QPR bigwigs will say their bringing in a higher standard of players at the club to compete with the best the prem has to offer.
Its what other chairmen have done ie, bates when he was Chelsea chairmen by pricing out the ordinary supporters for those who can afford the inflated prices ,yes it is disgusting,
and the price hike is way excessive for some of the richiest people running that club who you would have thought could cover the extra cost.

steve mate, yep totally agree, another ****in chelski is what they are looking to do, i really hope it blows up in their faces, cos then they are gonna have to go grovelling back to the true fans who were priced out in the prem for the prawn ****in sandwich brigade who will **** off the minute they aint getting franchise chelsea or franchise man city etc every week.
roar, firstly welcome onboard mate, i agree with your dont go answer, but hypothetically speaking, say the same did happen to us, now i dunno about you, but i would have a proper ****in hard time telling myself not to go, i guess time will tell whether it becomes a reality. I honestly dont see JB ****ting on us how the qpr owners have tho!

They do the same sort of thing over here in Rugby League, they call them 'Private Boxes'. They're bought out by businesses etc that want to impress their friends. Must admit, I've been to a couple. They spend all their time grogging on and chatting about business, no-one watches the game. Real fans? They wouldn't know one if it sh.t on them.
