Will definitely not be presented until the last match of the season. Good call imo - I'd much rather have the presentation at a full OT than at a 90% empty Ewok Park. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/13347834.stm
Definitely a good decision, but I don't reckon Ewood will be empty. It'll get taken over by United fans as usual. Mind you, I don't think we're guaranteed a point there.
If United got at least a point this Saturday, I'd have liked us to be awarded the trophy. I agree that it is preferable to be awarded the trophy at a home game in normal circumstances but the thought of United being awarded the trophy at approximately 3pm this Saturday would amuse me greatly for some reason
its because they know you will lose to blackburn and blackpool while chelsea win their last two games to win the title! ....one can only dream
good, that will make sure we concentrate on blackpool regardless of the blackburn result, hope we remain unbeaten at home
Lose the next two games and the title will be presented alright at Goodison........to Chelsea, now wouldn't that be fun.
Thank you for clarifying that it would be Chelsea collecting the trophy at Goodison in those unlikely circumstances. Just in case anyone thought Everton were still in with a chance
Don't think we should get the trophy on Saturday, it would be much better to be presented with it at Old Trafford the following week in front of 76000 fans ! But first we have to get the point to secure the trophy and I hope that happens on Saturday, I will take a scrappy draw. If we have won and Blackpool can stay up with three points, then I would take a defeat in that match, despite our home record. just to make sure that West Ham and Sir Trevor Boring are relegated !!!! Anyway I have more important things to think about as I have not heard if I have got my Champions League final tickets in the ballot yet ! Have any of you guys heard, I'm back in Lanzarote at the moment and am waiting for the email from United
