No it isn't Cardiff City http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/news/football-new-name-hull-072136925.html modern football is slowly ruining the game Thank god we have Lansdown
Its happened in Rugby and Cricket, so I guess it was just a matter of time- A lot of the welsh league has had teams like Total Network Solutions- I don't like it personally.
Newcastle tried it last year with the Sports Direct- I still think that Yorks ground is the best one- Kit-Kat!
I have the impression that support there is of the ilk to be comfortable with a re-brand. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tgS1RFk1cU8 A re-brand done with a significant consensus of support could galvanize fans.
I don't think its that big a deal. They are still hull city and they are known as the tigers. Its not changing nothing really.
For some reason Total Network Solutions had to drop that name. The club thought how they could keep that identity (TNS ) and came up with their new moniker....The New Saints.
According to the bookies Cardiff City are odds on to be the next premiership club to have a name change
