-----Haaland--------------------Kane--------- ----------------------Salah-------------------- ---------KDB-----Bruno.G----Odegaard----- Dan Burn---Saliba-----Dias-------Trippier --------------------Alisson-------------------- Haaland and Kane - No explanation needed. Salah - 30 attacking returns in a Liverpool side that struggled with consistency. KDB - His assists in the first half of the season to feed Haaland were insane. Way more assists than anyone else. The most creative mid in the league. Odegaard - Arsenal's player of the season. Bruno.G - Essential part of a Newcastle side that finished top 4 and struggled to win without him. Deep lying distributor and playmaker, dictates our games in midfield, and adds essential defensive quality also. More important to NUFC than Rodri to City. Trippier - Part of one of the best defences in the league, but also captained the team. One of the most creative players in the league. Dias - Part of the best back line in the league. Solid Saliba - When he was playing regularly, Arsenal were one of the best defences in the league. Burn - Consistent, barely put a foot wrong. Playing as a make shift LB in one of the best defences in the league, can't think of a LB that's been more consistent in the league this season. Alisson - Best GK in the world. Has saved Liverpool so many times and is probably the main reason they are close to top 4.
Burn and Bruno? Only players of ours I could see in a team of the season is Pope, Botman, Trippier. Bruno is hit and miss and was lucky to not get a red against Leicester.
In other words he has bad games from time to time, but over the season his impact has been massive. He's arguably been just as important as trippier, considering we haven't won a single game without him playing. Calling Bruno hit and miss is a bit of a stretch I hate when people use recent form to justify their statements about a player. He's literally been playing injured.
Pope Trippier Saliba Botman LB* there has been no stand out Odegaard Saka De Bruyne Salah Haaland Kane
He's been hit and miss all season, you're such a combative cry baby. If we are playing our players injured for entire stretches of the season we risk ruining their entire career and our physio team should be en masse sacked. No professional football team in the most competitive league on earth should ever do that. Aka, thats not the case. He's just been bang out of form, fans finding excuses for him. You don't get into a team of the season when you're bang out of form and you're going up against players like Casemiro. Who btw made our midfield look like a joke in the League Cup final.
Rofl combative because I disagree with you, don't be a little bitch. His impact has been incredibly significant to us. He's has a few bad games recently but it's a fact that he's been playing injured. Over the course of the season he's made enough crucial impact to warrant being in Tots. It's literal fact that we cannot win games without him. We've failed to win any game he's not been involved in. He's had injuries and we've been forced to play him unfit, but his impact has been as great as anyone elses in the game.
You're the one sticking folk on ignore and typing apology threads, bruv. Pot kettle. The issue is, as per, you're looking at this from a purely Newcastle point of view. This is the Premier League team of the Season and you're excluding Casemiro because you like Bruno. You can't just make up he's been "playing injured." Eddie Howe: “Bruno Guimaraes is fine. “He was in a bit of short term pain but nothing that has impacted his training week." Stop making **** up. He has been playing poorly, because sometimes players play poorly. He's not a bad player, he's one of our best, but he's not as good as Casemiro who has been key to Man Utd, who have been in Europe, won a cup, reached another cup final and can finish top 4. If Bruno is hurt, btw, that's a crying shame. But doesn't change anything. That's just a reason he's been out of form, not a denial of bad form.
The reality is I wasn't being combative initially, you interpreted it that way, and you interpreted it poorly. Doesn't matter how hypocritical you think I'm being, you over reacted, because you're being a little bitch, and I wasn't the only one being combative in those situations, I was also being provoked. You haven't been provoked in this situation, you've just been disagreed with. Get off your period ***got. Bruno has had his bad games recently, but over the course of the season his impact has been incredibly important, it's a perfectly reasonable position to have. Sorry if you don't agree.
Stop having a breakdown lol. No one asked you to try and defend yourself. You come back with this zen Buddhist monk vibe and in no time return to the Tash of 2011
My life is better than it was, but I have my bad moments like anyone. You were the one that started this **** bitch.
And you're the one who's affected by it One little remark sent you on a spiral "***got bitch" Second meltdown in 2 days. please log in to view this image
Dan Burn??? Tash, I think you are a legend on this board so I will be respectful here. Dan Burn should be no where near any team of the season (unless it is a flop of the season team)
Trippier is the only player we have who gets in. And there’s some distance before anyone else could. We are a team who are incredibly well managed, where the sum is so much greater than its parts. Trips gets in because he captains, leads, marshalls, creates, dictates. But Bruno G, our next best, is behind KDB, Odegard, Casemiro, Partey, Rodri, Bruno F - because this season he’s been very good, but not excellent. Wilson, Isak, Almiron, Botman, Pope, very good but at least the 4th best in each position!!
Alisson (kept Liverpool somewhat competitive even when they were crap) Trippier (no comment needed. He has been superb) Lisandro (Amazing CB who is a major reason why their defence has been so solid) Botman (The reason our defence is one of the best) Zinchenko (as important to Arsenals attack as Tripps for us) Casemerio (No Casemiro, no top 4 for Man U) Odegaard (His ability to control the middle and play defence splitting passes has been second to none) KDB (Best player in the PL apart from his robot of a teammate) Saka (Phenomenal season) Haaland (Robot) Salah (Not his usual standard but still been a phenomenal season Honourable mentions for Emi Martinez, Saliba, Bruno G (his injury tail off cost him), Rashford and Kane
True however Rashford has not just played as a striker this season. Hence the mention. In truth, our entire squad (except Burn and Anderson) deserve mentioning. They are brilliant
