So by the end of this weekend we will be half way through this Premier season. We have seen some good performers and some bad performers. But no one is dominating the headlines like Ronaldo, Drogba and Van Persie have done in the past.

But what is your league team of the season so far?

    Rules:
-You can use any formation you like.
-Players must have played regularly in the position you select them in (so if you want Hazard and Bale who both play LW, you cannot put one of RW). Exceptions can be made between certain position, like LWF and LWM can go in each others spots as they are almost the same.
    - There are no limits to how many players you can have from one club.

Here goes mine. I have picked the now most common 4231 formation. Strikers will be the hardest to pick.

    -------------------Al Habsi------------------
    -Johnson--Shawcross--Vertonghen--Baines
    ---------De Guzman------Dembele----------
    ------Walcott-------Michu-------Bale-------
    --------------------Suarez------------------

    Honorable mentions:

Van Persie, Javier Hernandez, Cazorla, Padolski, Agger, Mirallas, Hazard, Mata.

Some players have been picked judged partly on the team they are in. Suarez has carried Liverpool for example, whilst United would still be strong with out Van Persie.

    -------------Begovic-----------
    Johnson---Kompany--Luiz---Baines
    -------Sandro-----Dembele-------
    Suarez--------Mata---------Bale
    -------------Van Persie-----------

That team is purely based on what I've seen and watched, would stick Michu in there for Mata but I've only seen him play about three times.

  3. That looks good to me apart from Kompany, he's been poor by his standard. There I say that J.Evans has been playing well? :bandit:

I was struggling to think of a CB who's played decent, I was gonna put Vertoghen but I thought he was being played at LB. As for Evans, I've seen him play a few times including last week and he was totally cack <laugh>

  5. Vertoghen is a good shout. What about our Martin? He's had a good season so far. Ashley Williams has been playing well too.

Thought about it but I didn't want to look to bias <laugh> Williams is a good shout, tempted to put Shawcross in there or Huth purely because Stoke have been so solid at the back

Luiz has been good! Albeit as a DM, but I'm bending the rules for that one :emoticon-0102-bigsm

  9. He's been very good at DM (as most people predicted he would be) but as a CB he is shocking!

I found cb hard to. I originally had Vertoghan at lb but couldnt think of enough cb's, whilst Baines is having a good season.

I would have Michu and RVP up front. Perhaps with Suarez behind them.

  12. I think those three need to be in there somewhere along with Mata.

    Begovic
    Johnson - Williams - Shawcross - Evra
    Cazorla - Felliani
    Suarez - Michu - Mata
    RVP

Shawcross and Jagielka have been the stand out cbs for me this season.
