Just wondering what is the rules around the reserves league?

Am i right in thinking if we go up we also enter the Premier Reserve League
and those who go down lose there place and have to arrange friendlys ect?

I'm hoping we will have one as I think a more competitive edge to our reserve
games are definetly needed if we are going to be blooding as many youths
    as Nicola says.

I don't think it's compulsory to enter it.

There is a reserve league for lower league teams as well but we pulled out of it in favour of arranging friendly matches. I guess Cortese didn't think the benefits were worth it, but as you say, he might re-evaluate things if we qualify for the premier reserve league.

i thought we pulled out- thats why our reserves are called the 'developement team'. originally they said that they pulled out to arrange more competative matches home and abroad- but as we shall soon be back with the big boys then i think we should re-join the reserve league

The premier reserve league ensures consistent decent competition which the regional lower leagues reserves did not provide. Having our youngsters playing forest green reserves and thurrock reserves was with all due respect a waste of time.
