So, predictions were made for our first game of the season and it's safe to say, no one thought that would happen. With everyone predicting a Liverpool win (bar 2 people who predicted a draw) no one got the correct score or even result. Also with no Liverpool goals no one for a 5 point bonus for naming the correct scorer! Normally at this point I will be posting the current league standings however with everyone on 0 points it seems a bit pointless... Keeping things short and sweet, our next match is at home to Man City on Sunday 26 August. Post your predictions on here in the same way as before! Yes, you get 10 points if you predict a 0-0 or 1-0 loss for example and both happen. And if you perdicted a 2-0 lose and it was only 1-0 you'd get 2 for correct result and 5 for correct scorer (or lack of in this case). P.s I thought you knew something we didn't and Aguero was actually our "exciting signing" that Rodgers promised us!
I think we'll get 1, but i think that City will be 2-0 up by half time, we'll get a sneaky header after half time then about 20 minutes from the end they'll get a third. Mystic Meg style
I was going to say 0-3 but after seeing Zingy predict City will get three I now know that to be incorrect. 0-2 (Suarez) (yes, I know... how can Suarez score if we don't... no, not predicting an own goal... my thinking is just too complex for the average mortal to comprehend. Lucas Milk works in mysterious ways) After watching WBA not all doom and gloom for the season... but I am doom and gloom for the next month or so... it'll take a while for us to find our feet. May be Christmas before we're on the right side of the table... but we will be- and we'll finish with a flourish... which is a plant additive for aquariums btw... Seachem makes it... I don't think we will score... but if we do it will be Suarez. If I can't pick someone- it gives people who do predict a goal an advantage to get those bonus points so it will artificially create an environment where people predict us scoring even if they don't think we will.
No, because if you predict us to lose 2-0 and we lose 2-0 you'll get 10 points (5 for correct score and 5 for correct scorer/lack of scorer). If you predict us to lose 2-0 and we lose 3-0 you'll get 7 points (2 for correct result and 5 for correct scorer). See comment above to Zingy for the exact same point....
