Ranieri & Marhaz are both nominated. http://www.skysports.com/football/n...-boss-alan-pardew-in-running-for-august-award http://www.skysports.com/football/n...n-contention-for-premier-league-players-award Hopefully Pelligrini or Pardew will get it & be cursed, clearing our path back to the top of the table I'd genuinely give it to either of those anyway, Pardew possibly edging it for that win at Chelski.
Mahrez's goals and general play have probably been more influential in our form, so I think he'll probably get it. Pretty sure Pellegrini will win the manager award though.
Man City have more resources that us, so our unbeaten start, especially considering the media reaction to Ranieri's appointment, is more impressive. I'd say I hope Ranieri doesn't get it, but the "curse" didn't do Pearson any harm - unless you include getting sacked a few weeks later!
Ayew... really? Odd pick for me, don't think he'd even be Swanseas potm, though havn't actually checked over on their board.
They seem surprised as well - Mahrez should have won but hopefully CR or someone will use it to fire him up.
I don't think Mahrez should have won, hes done surprisingly well on the wing and deserves praise with a nomination, but Gomis should have won it for me. You'd think Joe Hart or someone like Kompany would get a mention for 4 consecutive clean sheets.
