if he signs a new one great, fact is there are not many players like Suarez and given our position at the moment it makes not sense not to keep him for fear of damaging the "brand" ..... new contract is good IMO. doubt he will sign one but if he does I will be happy
Well its a bit of a gamble either way. Sell him and buy two Coutinhos and we're in Europe. Sell him and buy a dozen Borini/Aspases and we're in Goodison Park. Don't sell him... he could let contract run out... or do something REALLY bad. / not really knocking Aspas just first name came to mind... I know its early days yet.
There's no guarantee that Madrid are even interested in him, especially after getting ripped off for Gale, he might just decide to settle down and sign, especially if you're still going well in the league
