Why anyone would spend so much time on such a thing concerns me, which kind of makes me hope these are real.

On the other hand - Burnley and Man Utd over Christmas? I ****ing hope not, regardless of the fact we won 3-0 against Burnley on Boxing Day last year and gave Man Utd a fight a couple of years previous.

I think we'll get Leicester first game.

First team to win at the Olympic stadium. That'd be fun.

Doubt it's true, but wouldn't be against that fixture list. That's the first time I've seen us not have a run of teams like Man U, Man City, Spurs, Arsenal at some cripplingly bad point. If that were the fixtures, there's plenty of opportunities to bounce back from defeat.

I actually in a way wouldn't mind being West Ham's first game at the Olympic.

I'm definitely off to that fixture regardless, went to that stadium during the Olympics, it's a fantastic arena.

I joked we'd get West Ham in London opening day, but if this is legit - surely it's rigged that we always get a London club away?

Agreed, they're a great set of fixtures. We could be safe from relegation by the time November is out :bandit:.

In all seriousness though, is anyone else looking at these thinking "that's winnable, that's winnable etc" It doesnt seem as hopeless as in previous years for some reason. Maybe it's the Lester effect, we're a better team or I'm just hit by a wave of optimism.

As the first post states, why would someone go to this much trouble? What's "fun" about it? There's a lot of people who need to take a long hard look at their existence.

Absolutely. I don't think anyone took it seriously. I'm surprised the league even bothered to respond. I can only guess that someone asked the question, and they replied.

Last time we were in the PL I think an incorrect set of fixtures was circulated before the real ones came out
