Interesting article on agent's fees for Premier League clubs.

    Telegraph agent's fees

Good for Swansea, Norwich and particularly Southampton.

Great that they can get some decent players while spending so little on agent's fees.

QPR... I think you can guess!

Also interesting that they think Norwich were one of the promoted clubs last season <doh>... Just discovered its been corrected now.

money payed to agents means it has to be recouped through higher entrance prices, higher club shop merchandise, in other words, we, the fans, end up paying these leeches on football. each club should appoint one person, or company, and all transfer activity must go through this agency. that way they will be working for the club and not their own selves.

Some truly crazy numbers in there for certain. What puzzles me a little is we were often told by a good number of the QPR fans that they had not spent a lot in transfer fees this summer, which makes their sum of nearly £7 million all the more outrageous.

It also appears a good number of their fans, while fed up with high profiles players not being able to play as a team, are quite happy with the way the club is being run. I would take a wild guess and say that is easy to do until...It all goes horribly wrong and as it's not their own money they are spending, it is easy to get carried away with seeing high profile names joining the "project".

Southampton have done exceptionally well, as have Swansea in the transfer market considering some of the talent they have brought in this season.
