Just popped on to look at season ticket prices - they have increased significantly now as expected. The premier concourse remains unavailable. Is it opening now we are in the championship or not?

delete this just seen the other thread about season tickets doh!

Doubt it. Lower bowl is 35k ish so we would still have to shift about 10k more STs. If it does open then those STs that were displaced due to its closure have first dibs on their old seats I think.

The club is missing a trick here in my opinion. There are loads that were put out when they shut it in the first place, I much prefer it up there to the lower bowl. Re opening will bring back a sense of normality to the club, something we haven’t had since the last regime instilled a small time mentality on us. Those shifted will be able to go back where they want to be and it will be another boost to us all on top of the promotion boost. That and it will boost sales further. KLD must have heard of the saying “build it and they will come”

We will be bobbling about 38 to 40k next season it’s not like no one will be up there drinking beer.

I'd agree mate, open it and I think people will go back up there, no doubt. It's been a bit naff with it being closed but at the same time understandable in L1 but championship is different. Even if they condense it to the middle few blocks up there, it's worth putting a few on sale imo. It would pay for itself.

I hope we have seen the last of just having the East stand open for cup games as well. I know we won't have to endure the papa John's or the first round of the fa cup but I hope we get a good home draw early doors and a decent crowd.

All of these things will change if the market is there.
