This isn't the Final Prediction game. In fact it's a pre season final prediction game! Kinda....

AT THIS EXACT MOMENT... where do you think we will finish in the championship next season? Don't want no "We don't know what team we'll have" or "We don't know who we're playing" bollocks. Just give your honest answer as to where you think, right now, we'll end the championship campaign..

Right now I think a 16th place finish is how far we'll go next year. The championship is ridiculously tough, so much more so than when we were last there. I look at the likes of Reading, Brighton, Leeds, Bolton and Birmingham, who usually brush us aside when we play them, struggling in the league we'll be in next season. It makes me a little nervous about how we'll do...

Anyway that's just my opinion, what's yours?

I'm going to say top 6, hoping that the 'bounce factor' will help us as it did with GJ.
And Bournemouth,Wolves and Brentford haven't done bad this season.
    Fingers, legs, everything crossed.

I'm going to put a sneaky £20 on us getting a second successive promotion next season. I really do feel a positive vibe about our club that has been absent since 2008.
    Bring on the Championship!!!

10th we will need a bigger squad but I believe our current one is good enough to hold their own in the championship

I seem to be the most pessimistic about next season then! <laugh> Just can't see a top half finish next year but one thing I am hoping.... Cotterill HASN'T had a bad spell at this club yet, not even close. We've been used to winning under him and only moving up the league (or winning it!) and doing really well in cup competitions. So when it isn't going our way I hope fans don't jump on his back as I know for a fact some are just waiting for him to slip up as they didn't want him in the first place. He deserves a chance in the championship and if we're going through a sticky patch it won't be down to bad management, simply not good enough from the players, but then again who knows, we might end up doing a back to back promotion and the Cotterill love in will be stronger than ever... Here's hoping for the latter!

I think we will do all right - top half

3 or 4 quality additions and we could push for play-offs

It depends entirely on who we can bring in over the summer, and whether Lansdown will cough up some cash.

We're in a rather unique position where we have a very small squad and have some players that will probably leave in the summer. This means we can sign needed replacements, and possibly bolster a squad without any real worry of players losing their places. If Cotterill can navigate the transfer market well I think we could manage around tenth.

We've done well this season because we've had momentum. It depends entirely on how we start, and whether we can do as good as job keeping momentum and we did this season. Previously, a lot of fans underestimated the strength of the Championship. I really hope we learned our lesson this season...
