There are reports that a number of prem clubs sent scouts along to watch Jeff Schlupp against Birmingham. I would guess Man U being one after his trial there last season and Fergie was interested in signing him. Schlupp has come along way since going to Man U and he been in the team more weeks then not since his return. He even had a little run in the side up front at the back end of last season. I think he is a better left back then Paul Konchesky, I think he is better defensively and alot better going forward then Konch. His link up play with Dyer is very good because both have the pace covering each other. Schlupp IMO is fast becoming one of our best assests and we need to do all we can to keep him. Both Jeff Schlupp and Liam Moore look like they can nail down a starting position this season which is great for the academy lads.

We have rejected bids this summer for Kasper Schmeichel, Wes Morgan, Liam Moore and Andy King and thats just what we know of. So im sure our stance on Jeff Schlupp will be the same

We had 3 academy graduates starting the last game, and all 3 I reckon could play in the Premier League someday. I hope we keep hold of Schlupp though, but another team might offer him the chance of an attacking position, although I've never heard him complain about playing LB and he's surprisingly good. Agree that his relationship with Dyer is very good and is something we should maintain. Bakayogo must have thought his chance had come when Konchesky was about to leave, he's now quite possibly 3rd choice without ever having played a game.
