The trust (PST) have now officially been named as the preferred bidders to purchase PFC. Good news - now we can start to move forward. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19983822
T'was two months before Christmas, when all through the house. Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. Up woke PST members to ask their wives. For £900 on fear of their lives.
That looks strangely familiar! I'd love to watch some of the conversations of Pompey fans trying to justify to their partners why two months before Christmas they should give £900 to a company that has failed 3 times already. Sounds like a sound investment...
The Portsmouth Supporters Trust have failed 3 times already ? Where did you get that information from then ? Failed WUM
The business they intend to run has failed 3 times and they don't have the funds in place, they are pledges. Even if they do get all the pledges, how will the business be funded once that money runs out? A 4th admin is on the cards already, only this time it will be solely in the hands of the fans.
Guys it is not going to be an easy ride....most of you Pompey fans know that..........I still think that Chanrai can cause you problems. It may need Portsmouth Council to compulsary purchase the land and the stands to make him go away. However for a while at least you will all know what direction you are going!! Well done the trust...... Keep the home fires burning lads and good luck for the future.
If the PST take over [and they look the best bet] what chance Chainrai throwing his toys out of the pram and locking the club out of the ground!?
Don't actually think that he can stop you using the land The only thing he can probably do is charge you rent for the use of the facillities. However if that happens you will be able to go to a tribunal to get what they would deem a fair rent. Probably in the region of 250000 a year or some such..........
I keep wondering about that........ well no not really, I don't actually give you any thought at all, but have noticed that all your posts on this board are quite sour.
Some grapes are ripe for picking and still taste sour but you will always get the odd sharpe one and then of course you might pick a very bitter one. Still once they have all been trodden on, we can all raise a glass or two.
