Predictions for the semi-final and final

I'm sure many of us have a huge smile on our faces now! Well done to England! Here are my predictions for the quarters, semis and final!

Quarter final
The Czech Republic v Portugal, a Czech win
Germany v Greece, a German victory
Spain v France, a French victory, who were awful tonight but I think we shall see a different outlook from them in this match. I don't think they mind taking on Spain. Plus Spain miss David Villa badly.
England v Italy, England provided they are not sucked into the Italian wind-up tactics

Semi-Final

Czech Republic v France, a Czech victory
Germany v England, a German victory on penalties!!

Final
Germany v Czech Republic

Winners Germany

Thoughts folks

 

Greece need to do us a favour and knock out Germany, because we certainly can't.

 

Anything can happen. Except Greece beating Germany. That can't happen.

 

England beating Germany can just about happen, but it won't be pretty.

 

We can beat Germany...just not in football. Starting WWIII out of pique would just be excessive.

P.s. I haven't mentioned the N***s so this thread isn't finished

 

What's the most likely scenario that could kick off another World War against Germany? I suppose there would have to be some sort of imperialist, fascist political uprising. Has that happened before?

I'd love it if England won it,but I can't see that happening

 

We'll beat Italy, thus confirming my prediction that we would reach the semis. Germany will be tough as balls though, can't wait to throw down with them again.

 

I have a fear they will get Rooney set off.

 

I think it's a more open tournament than usual, so anything can happen (except England winning it).

 

I can't see us beating Italy. If we do, we'll get hammered by the Germans again in the semis assuming they beat Greece first.

I can see the Spanish edging it against the French. Neither side gets in behind much and I can see this being a dull affair with the ball mainly pinging around in the middle. The Spanish to use their quality to capitalise on a late slip.

Portugal and Germany to beat the Czechs and the Greeks respectively.

Ronaldo and Portugal to give the Spanish a lesson in counter attacking football.

Germany to beat Italy/England in the other semi.

Germany to beat Portugal in the final.

 

I feel, if anything, it is exactly this lack of expectation that may actually be our one advantage this time round. That said, I can only see us getting one more hard-earned, gutsy type win, but not three. To do that, I think we need to create more, utilise the Ox and Wally combo maybe.

 

So you think the Greeks are better than us?

 

Tragically I think the Germans will win. have backed them so at least I can console myself with winnings>
