At the moment, there is no 2011 season due to the lockout but when the NFL does resume, who do you think could make it to Indianapolis on 5th Feb? Pats, steelers and packers should be in with a shout, but what about teams like the jets, the would-be home stadium finalists the colts or even the conference finalists the bears? Thoughts?
Favourites for me right now would have to be the Steelers actually. My wee bonkers bet though would be on the Texans - improved steadily over the last few years, while the Colts are in decline IMO. What with the Titans being in a rebuild phase, and the Jags being so incosistent, I can see Houston posting a strong enough regular season record to set them up well for the playoffs.
The current Superbowl Champs, the Packers, would be favourites for me. They have a great roster of talent at the 'right' age but I would love to see the Pats win it again
I have a sneaky feeling that the Falcons are gonna reach the superbowl. I for one just hope my Titans can make the post season, if we did then that would be a very good accomplishment.
Well I know who it won't be - the Broncos. I've a feeling for the Jets this season and possibly the bears.
I don't think the Eagles will do it, they have all the pieces but I can't see it pulling together down the stretch. My heavily biased pick will always be the Titans but I can't see that happening at all this season, big surprise! And King_Kenny's right, much as I hate to say it the Texans have to make good on their talent sometime. My pick to win it...no idea. There's a few up there and it could be a free for all, but at a push I would say either Packers or Falcons.
After free agency and picking up Nnamdi, I can see the Eagles going close this year. Especially if Mike Vick performs again. I just hope that Jim Harbaugh can turn the 49ers around and we can have a winning season for the first time since 2002!
