We are being quoted at 7/4. Seems the bookies think that last season was a fluke!! We are 4,000/1 to win it.
It is ridiculous to make a guess at this stage when you don't even know what players will be in each squad.
I predict Cardiff will bottle it again in the playoffs (can you get "redbottles"?) I predict mark Hughes will get the boot. I predict we'll finish higher than we did this season. I predict Rodgers will be sacked. I predict another Grand Slam for Wales. I predict the con-dem coalition will fall apart quicker than a redbird pipedream in Asia. I predict a glorious future for the swans.
if he gets the next appointment right i am predicting a knighthood for our Huw.for services to the Welsh national treasure that is Swansea City Athletic Football Club.
I think the bookies are being realistic. If they offered higher odds then too many people would take the bet. If you think the odds are wrong you are free to offer better odds at places like betfair. But I think even most Swans fans wouldn't offer much more. What do you think realistic odds are of us being relegated? I'd say between 2-1 and 3-1. A lot depends on who the next manager will be. We did very well last season and I think we will do well again. But we only finished 11 points above the relegation zone. 11 points are quite easy to drop with things go slightly wrong. There is a thin line between doing well and getting relegated. Also, many promoted teams get relegated quite quickly.
not ridiculous at all. It is quite obvious who will be at the top and who will be at the bottom. Answer: the usual suspects.
Exactly bap! Always look up! Yes we should always be wary, but after the first few games of the season can anyone say they were honestly worried about where we would finish? Cautious maybe, but never worried. I firmly believe we will go from strength to strength, bring on next season I say! Qpr, wigan and west brom for the drop.
Sorry for being 'boring' but it's far too early. I know everyone is cheesed off with manager speculation but we'll get umpteen of these before the season starts. Concentrating on the Swans for example: If we make the wrong appointment. If we lose key players. If we don't replace them. We're in trouble. If we make the right appointment. If we don't lose key players. If we bring in some decent signings. We'll do even better. Get my drift?
