My first live game tomorrow watching Sunderland and my 2nd visit to the new Amex stadium. Brighton being my local team. Really looking forward to it.
Whats everyone's predictions and what will the line up be ? As I have no idea.
What I do know is we cannot take Brighton lightly, they have a good team and have been playing very well so far, it's going to be a tough game for sure.

I fear a 1-1 draw. Out on penalties.

Bruce is going to throw the game... Obviously. Brighton is the home of peas pudding and I have it from a great source that Brucey hoards barrels of the stuff.

Wait this weekend you were bigging up our manager to our fans. Now you're telling us we'll win when many believe we won't... You're either Niall Quinn or you're luring us into a false sense of security.

Like I said matey, I'm just honest in everything I say. You guys have a more than ample second squad to beat Brighton. Just fact imo.

Obviously on the day things don't always go to plan, but the potential is there.

You're right. We should, in theory have two sets of 11 better than their first.

I can't see anything other than a defeat tbh. Best case scenario though we win and Newcastle beat scun.thorpe and we draw each other in the next round, gives us a quick shot at revenge Lennox Lewis - Hasim Rahman stylee.

Going to be a hard game make no mistake Brighton are a decent side

    Personally I would go with

    ----------------- Westwood -----------------

    Elmohamady - Bramble -- Laing ---- Richardson

    Larsson --- Gardner ------ Vaughan ----- Cook

    --------------Ji ---------- Wickham ----------

    subs

Ferdinand, Mignolet, Colback, Cattermole, McClean, Sessegnon, Gyan

    Sunderland win 3-1.

An attacking team, must be picked, and a team talk by Bally should do the trick....
