Will the following three managers still be in their same job on the final day of next season ? Jose Mourinho - Man Utd Neil Harris - Millwall Joey Barton - Fleetwood Town
My predictions : 0/3 will be in the same job. Mourinho - one trick pony, parks the bus even better than @Miketyson2007 . Other coachs have overtaken him, and United fans are starting to rumble about his dreadfully prosaic style of football. GONE. Harris - snapped up by a bigger club. Either that, or the Ben Sherman shandy drinking mob will turn against him after 2 successive draws. GONE. What says @TC (Lovely Geezer) ? Barton - GONE ... I'll give him 10 games max
Mourinho is on a downward curve. He is now after Fred, who I don't think would be a success at Man U. But I think he'll get until the end of the season, because of the problems they've had replacing Sir Alex. Neil Harris has done a superb job, but I think loyalty will keep him at Millwall this season, hoping for another crack at promotion. Joey Barton is the wild card. He'll either last 6 or 7 games or he might conceivably turn out to be a very good manager. He is not as stupid as you would think. Silly, maybe, but not stupid.
Mourinho - no (and even if he is still the Utd boss on the last day of the season he will be gone a week or two later) Harris - yes Millwall will probably finish mid-table but that is still a solid performance in the Championship. Barton - yes I have a feeling Fleetwood will do well under JB. They could be knocking on the door of the top 6 like Southend Utd.
Will the following three managers still be in their same job on the final day of next season 1 OF 3? Jose Mourinho - Man Utd... gone by xmas Neil Harris - Millwall …. stays at Millwall Joey Barton - Fleetwood Town …. like Conte, can he deal with players?..NO.. gone by October
Joey Barton will have to do something about his short fuse. Never mind the tea cups flying, I can see the knuckledusters flying.
Mourinho will be gone before the end of next season. Harris stays. Joey Barton will be banned somewhere along the line.
Mourinho was fine when he was playing unattractive football & winning. Watching his Man Utd team now is like having bleach in your eyes...reminscent of the Italian teams of the 70s and 80s. I can't see how United throwing another £200m at the problem this summer will help them. Harris will fall victim to the legendary Millwall Boo Boys I reckon. Bile n'vitriol the likes of which you only see on not606* * - according to @Leftbehind
Manuel Pellegrino to be the first sacking of next season. The fans don't mind losing games as long as "We're West Ham, we play on the ground".
