I texted back: "It will be cold and windy, you will meet lots of people you don't understand even though they are talking English" He then said that "we are taking 1500 southern chavs up to meet our northern brethren" Small town near Horsham, you're just a small town near Horsham....... I expect us to win. Score is hard to predict and scorers even harder because we don't know who will be playing for us and there are very few Crawley playerd we'll have heard of. I don't fancy a replay, they're totally pointless and achieve nothing; more often than not neither team wants one. I hate the feeling of leaving a game unfinished (though obviously it's better than losing) If we need to keep tampering with long-standing traditions I would suggest this one as it's one we could all do without.
I wouldn't be shock to see 0-1 , they will come to play that's for sure, however I think in reality we will be a little to strong and can see a narrow 2-1 win. I think a lot of us will be surprised with crawley town
If they are coming here to play rather than defend then we'll win this one a lot more easier than people are saying. I think we may be suprised at the amount of first team players we'll see starting this game.
I'd imagine some decent players for us will be dropped given its only a cup game. I really wouldn't be surprised to see a Crawley win. I don't sound like much of a city fan do it haha
im hoping we turn up and smash them 3 or 4 nil thats if we take them serouis but any win would go down well aslong as where in the last sixteen im happy! Up The Tigers!!
as Nick will make many changes with tuesday in mind its hard to say. but even with 7 or 8 squad players City shoukd be to strong. IF BIG IF City score first AND EARLY then i think 3 or 4 - 0. But any win will do. Think Simpson and King will score if they play. should be a good game. UTT
If we do lose today. Couple of minutes to go we should sing, 'At least you're not Wigan'. I'm excited for today, we're against a team I haven't seen us play before,. Opportunity to see Cooper and East play a first team game, maybe another youngster on the bench. Possibly get to see what Kings all about. Not the end od the world if we don't go though, although a cup run would be nice. 4-1 Tigers. King, Simpson, Cairney and Dudgeon. Tubbs for them towards the end.
Bollocks to all this, Barmby is a winner and he don't like losing to lower league teams. He'll put a strong side out, we are not top 4 Prem who can afford to turn a chance down of a 5th round tie against a bigger club, this is a great opportunity to reach the last 16 and although its lost a lot of appeal, its still the FA cup.
we beat Ipswich with a team that is likely to be similar to today's.. Brady will be given the job of controlling the game.. now Crawley, despite being L2 are no mugs and are actually around a similar standard to Ipswich (who are poor & off form).. so 2-1 for me (Brady & Fryatt)
