Good week for the Reds and with everyone predicting a win, it was like Christmas come early with everyone picking up points (apart from those who didn't predict). With the new points system for the scorers there weren't as many high points as usual this week with Suarez only bagging 3 points for his goal, however 7 points were available for Enrique, but understandably no one decided to take that risk (take note for next week maybe?) Also a few bonus points for those that didn't quite get the prediction spot on but got the correct goal difference (a couple of 4-1 predictions meaning 3 points were given rather than the normal 2). Only 3 players got the score correct, Myself, Ze Liverbird & Alleucas Milk with those two also going for Suarez they picked up the highest points tally of 8 this week. Our next game is away to Swansea on Sunday, a game we have struggled in the last year (3 defeats I think it is now?). Post your score and one Liverpool scorer. Away against Swansea is a toughie to predict. I'm going to have to drink a bunch more triple sec and sour tonight before I'm confident to decide on this one.
Do you need to clarify which playerz are attackers, midfielders and defenders? Ie Enrique played as an attacker yesterday. Are Downing, Assaidi, Sterling etc (none are strikers but all play in the front three) attackers or midfielders? Swansea 0-2 Liverpool (Suarez)
I've done it on the Liverpool page of the bbc website (it has them split right at the bottom). I was going to use LFC.com but don't think they have them all split into positions. Mentioned it on last weeks thread but I'll make sure it's included going forward for anyone that may miss ok http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/teams/liverpool Sterling is down as midfielders, Assaidi & Suso are down as forwards which you could argue against but sticking with that. RE being played out of position, if Enrique plays as a LW then he'd still pick up points for being a defender if he scores (in the same way all fantasy points are worked out).
Ugh... OK... been drinking nonstop and finally have decided... still haven't the foggiest. So. 1-1 Suarez... Playing it safe. I have a nasty feeling in my stomach about this... too much alcohol.
