So we've now entered our third (?) international break and now would be a good time to give you an update on what's happened so far. Thai has been kind enough to post the table in a separate thread here -

And as you can see a slight gap has opened up between the top four and the rest, yet only a point separates them all - so close at the moment. As Rhondda 54 has already pointed out, despite been top after one game (along with current leader Bluebird_nat), he now sits with a large group on 10 points - 7 points of the lead. In fact Buebird_nat has been so consistent she has only not picked up points in 5 matches of the 15 she's predicted in.
But the best record so far lies with Captain Hook, who's Correct Score against Palace was the 5th picked up. That includes a hat-trick of Correct Scores in the games against Burnley, Pompey and Doncaster, which kept him top for a while. Unfortunately, he picked up the Predictor of the Month Award, and as Bissmit will also tell you, this results in an unlucky streak. No points for 6 games in a row after that remarkable hat-trick and Bissmit suffered a 3 game barren run, leaving him also on 10 points now.
And the winner of last months award is.... GLAMorgan, who has continued his run for late last month into November so he might be alright! Well Done! Last weeks match was a break-through for OldSparkey who predicted the only Correct Score agasint Derby to get his first max pointer of the season. I think only Private Benjamin has a longer run... that is still going. I think SuperSwan999 has already over taken him despite having at least 10 less goes at predicting. And well done to the rest of you that I haven't mentioned! Maybe next time....
Other Stuff
Right, now to the second part of my post. Mainly changes and future things. We are averaging at around about 30 posters a game, a low of 29 and a max of 39, which is far more than enough regular posters As you can see from the table, many have dropped out and I probably should have them removed from the table. To make it a bit more exciting, around about Christmas I will be dividing the table into two separate divisions, so we can get promotion and relegation going. More details on that in a monthâs time. There will be no change in the way scoring works, but I may consider that at the end of the season.
On other boards (Swans), there is a Master Thread which is a sticky and contains an updated table - not sure if you would like one of those? And finally, next summer is Euro 2012 and I was thinking of doing some Prediction Competition, possibly an inter-board competition against the Norwich not606er's. Though I stress this is at a very early stage and nothing is certain. If you have any ideas on such a competition let me know (PM me) but I should probably focus on finishing this League season first
Hope your brains haven't exploded after all that information
